Jimmy Venables (Nicholas Lyndhurst) is asked to look after the children by his ex-wife when she goes off to work in Africa.
Jimmy is happy to help out. However, his former mother-in-law Diana (Celia Imrie) thinks he's a "walking disaster", so she volunteers her services to keep an eye on things (especially on Jimmy).
The BBC has announced that no further episodes will be made.
